Filanda n.18's Georgia Wrap Skirt is inspired by the American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. In the words of museum curator Wanda Corn, O'Keeffe "covered her body and head with abstract shapes, like she did her canvases."
The skirt is made of 100% cotton and comes with built-in buttons for closure. The fabric is hand picked from dead-stock in Italy. The entire production process of the skirt, from sourcing the fabric, to designing, cutting and sewing the garment, takes place in an area of only 10 square kilometres in the Veneto region, Italy.
